Final Examination
In order to be eligible for admission to the final examination necessary to attain the Master of "Engineering in Computer Science", students are required to have completed all credits stipulated by the Study Manifesto, excluding those allocated for the final examination, and must have fulfilled all university fees and contributions.
The conclusive assessment for obtaining the Master's Degree necessitates the public defense of a thesis that must be founded on original research conducted by the student under the supervision of a designated Advisor. Ideally, the thesis should embody an applied, design, or experimental nature, thereby enabling the Committee to evaluate both the cultural and scientific development of the student alongside the quality of the work executed.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMITTING THE THESIS REQUEST
"To obtain the Master's Degree, the student must submit a thesis request to the Student Office, countersigned by the Advisor, through the Director. The request must be handed to the staff of the appropriate Teaching Office for the Degree Program (R. Greco – M. Allegra – A. Salvatore) at least 6 months before the start date of the first available graduation session. The submission date, as recorded in the protocol system, will be considered valid for this purpose. For mobility students, this requirement will be certified by the Head of International Programs for the Degree Program" (Article 13, Paragraph 3 of the Master's Degree Program Bylaws).
